Laura got ready for her wedding to Karl in a quaint little bed and breakfast located in Daylesford, Victoria. Although it wasn’t yet winter, it was a cloudy day with patches of rain – l think we were all slightly worried about the weather as the ceremony was to be held in the grounds of Tieve Tara gardens at Mount Macedon. Luckily the rain held off at all the right moments, and by the end of the day the sun finally made a belated appearance!
Laura was one of the most relaxed and tranquil brides l have ever met, and it was a pleasure to be photographing her on her special day. After the girls dressed we drove via Woodend to pick up the flowers (such a gorgeous bouquet!) and onto Tieve Tara at Mt Macedon.
The ceremony took place under a tree by the lake, with Tieve Tara’s ducks and geese swimming in the background, and portraits followed around the gardens, with a stunning backdrop of autumn colour. The day ended with a relaxed cocktail reception at the Holgate Brewery in Woodend – complete with wedding cupcakes, personalised wedding candy and happy family & friends.
