Congratulations to Kirstie & Brad who tied the knot on Friday at Red Hill Estate on the Mornington Peninsula. Friday’s weather was 43 degrees of HOT, but the ocean breeze made things much more comfortable, and the cool change had thankfully arrived just as guests were seated for the ceremony.
Kirstie was one of the happiest, funniest and most vivacious brides l have ever had the pleasure of photographing, the whole day was full of laughter, joy, and lots of genuine hugs from start to finish. Plus lots of emotion when she saw Brad waiting at the end of the aisle!
A little side story – Kirstie booked me as photographer for her wedding when she saw me working at a wedding she attended last year. I was lying on the floor getting some great dance move shots, and she said to me afterwards ‘anyone who is willing to lie on the floor to get a photo is my photographer’. There was just a bit of pressure to do the same at Red Hill LOL! Luckily the Red Hill Estate grounds were picture perfect for their wedding portraits – manicured green lawns, rows and rows of lush green vines, beautiful agapanthus, and to top it off a brilliant magenta sky as the sun set later that night. No photoshop required and no mud puddles for me to crawl around in LOL.
Congratulations to both of you on your special day, l wish you both the very best on the start of your life’s journey together. The best is yet to come x
