The Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church in Sunbury was the venue for Darren & Nicole’s wedding ceremony. I was SO excited because very few people get married in a church nowadays, and it is a nice change for a wedding photographer to not have to worry about the bright sunshine or lighting during the ceremony!
Both the bride and groom got ready in separate locations in Diggers Rest. I’m wondering if the boys actually spent any time getting ready, or just threw on their suits and admired the wedding cars for a few hours (just kidding Darren!) ;-)
It was a BIG day – after the beautiful ceremony & family photos we visited The Nook in Sunbury, the Jackson’s Creek bluestone bridge, then drove to Altona Beach for more bridal portraits, and then to Lakeside Receptions in Taylor’s Lakes for an evening of dancing, delicious food and partying late into the night. It was a simply amazing day. Congratulations to you both, and best wishes for a wonderful future together!
A HUGE thank you to my wonderful friend Julie from Jewels Photography who assisted on the day!
